Transitions in Surgical Education
This year we inaugurate the first Canadian Conference for the Advancement of Surgical Education (C-CASE). C-CASE will be a two-day conference focusing on both undergraduate and postgraduate surgical education and surgical educational research. The conference will be held in Ottawa and is scheduled for the two days immediately prior to the International Conference on Residency Education (ICRE). C-CASE will provide an opportunity for those interested in surgical education to share innovative research and knowledge, to network, and to seek answers to educational challenges with the goal of advancing surgical education.
We invite surgical educators, education researchers and administrators, residents, medical students, and other allied health professionals with an interest in surgical education to submit abstracts for podium presentations, and poster sessions. Podium and poster displays may be grouped by the conference organizers to foster theme development and discussion.
